Bruce gets co-workers, managers, family members, friends and patrons, as part of a team, to play a fun game which involves answering questions on musical songs, artists and trivia for money and/or prizes. In some shows we get contestants to compete against other players or other teams, while other shows involve single contestants playing alone for a good outcome or a high score. Game shows often reward players with prizes such as cash, trips or goods and services provided by the show's in-house prize suppliers.
Here is an example of how a final round can play out, for all the marbles.
The final round is usually made up of really tough songs. For example, for 1000 points, Team One drew the first clue "Boom Boom (Let's Go Back To My Room)" by Paul Lekakis. Team One's leader said “his brain said he knew it.... but he couldn't quite come up with the title!”. Team Two was ready for the steal and guessed correctly. ..and an easy 1000 points! Next up...Team Two's first clue and a chance at another 1000 points right then. Team Two's leader drew "Closer To Fine" by the Indigo Girls but she could not name it. Team Three stole with a correct response and we were tied with Team Two at 1000 points each! . Next up, Team Three drew the next clue, "Situation Critical" by Platinum Blonde. Both Team Three and Team One missed the answer! Team Two's turn again and a correct guess would win them the grand prize. Team Two drew "Top of the World" by the Carpenters and guessed "On Top of the World". Judges said no and it was passed to Team Three for the steal. Team Three named it and won the grand prize!
